Oceania Open champs now finished, 2013 likely venue Cairns or Perth.

Very good racing & great having 7 Indonesians Allan Chandra 3 Silver & 3 Bronze medals all behind World Champion & World recordholder 15,000 Peter Michael, so top effort from Chandra, Ajeng Anindya Prasalita ! gold Marathan, 3 Silver & 1 Bronze, crash with teamate Devina Pramudita cost her the chance of overall, with a close battle between Angeline Thomas the top Australian & Samantha Michael the top New Zealander, In the Juniors Sheilla Dewi won both the 300T/T & 500 meters Junior titles & one Gold & 1 silver, while fellow Junior Adinia Rizkayanti gained 4 bronze medals, they had a big impact in the Junior grade shutting the 3 Australian girls out of the medals & relegating a not fully recoverd from Sickness Emily van der Heyden to a number of 4th placings, as in 3 track events the had two on the Dias & with only 2 in the relay they raced well for third.

Aldy Rahardja teamed with Allan Chandra to collect 3rd in the mens relay.Nikko Amrullah raced hard, but a couple of minor errors cost him medals, but has the ability to perform at the top level , but lacking top International racing experience. Devina Pramudita unfortunately crashed in her favourite event the 500 meters & in the relay Indonesia were disqualified for a bad change, so lost out on two chances, but both Devina & Nikko gained medals at the N.Z. Bank track championships earlier in the year & Nikko won the open South Island 300
