After a good heat & semi Final Nicole Begg Had tired legs for the final & a bad start draw, after making a back to front move & leading the middle stages a little corner shove saw the all 5 come through past her.
In a very one sided champs Colombia has won 18 of the 24 Gold medals, with Korea 3, USA 2 & Italy 1, with many left asking questions.
Lets hope the road proves to be a more even contest.

The Colombian dominance isn’t normal. Normal in the fact that they usually aren’t that dominant. A big factor has to be the altitude. Also the track was a little to tight. I’d love to see racing in Geisingen, where you can go all out, instead of the blocking and keeping the inside line occupied type of racing we saw on the Guarne track. The road usually is a different course. However with the sharp turns will prove very difficult to pass.
